Lots of uncertainty about the ancestry of this individual. Some sources suggest an origin around Gilmanton in NH, but the age of the father indicated seems far too young. Another suggests a "George Bennett" of Boston, who is curiously related on both paternal and maternal lines to Joseph Bennett. The latter story is odd enough to suggest credibility, but that's not much to go on. --jrm03063 11:21, 17 October 2012 (EDT)
