death date [24 October 2010]

I removed the death date of 1 FEB 1681/1682 in Plymouth. The Libby source, the only source mentioned on this page, thinks he died by 1675 and no source is given to justify thinking Libby wrong. Further, it mentions Plymouth, and Richard Bowers was living in Eastham by about 1656. --Jrich 00:13, 25 October 2010 (EDT)

From Richard Knowles (6): Phantom? [25 October 2010]

In NEHGR, p. 79:292-3, in Charles T. Libby's authoritative article "The Knowles Family of Eastham", there is no mention of a son named Richard. On this page, there is simply a name and nothing else: neither date nor source given. So it is difficult to tell what is the basis for this alleged son's existance. I guess no source, no need to refute it. I am posting this to say, it is my intention to remove this page at some point in the future when next I visit this family unless this dirth of documentation is fixed. --Jrich 10:48, 25 October 2010 (EDT)
