Birthdate [20 December 2010]
I'm curious on the source for the 1 MAY 1800 birthdate. I can't seem to find it in Tresoar (yet). --Jennifer (JBS66) 06:59, 20 December 2010 (EST)
- well I think from the internet (several pages but one is the most obvious: [1]) the only possibility to control is a view in the Bevolkingsregister. So we should make an about 1800 I guess.--Klaas (Ekjansen) 07:36, 20 December 2010 (EST)
- That is Sylvia's website (and she is also a watcher on this page :-) I'm not sure if she still follows changes to WR pages though. We could keep the 1 May 1800, and cite the website as a secondary source for now.

As from 1850 all Dutch gemeenten kept a bevolkingsregister where the families are recorded with their dates as a family: Father, Mother, Children, Address, occupation, religion, moved from.. moved to ..
Jantje died after 1850, so she must have been recorded in the Bevolkingsregister with birthdate (not always correct).
