From Henry Willis (12): Using Fields

Why not put the data (which you have in the text box)in the corresponding fields (boxes) for birth, children, etc.?--Dquass 00:22, 14 November 2007 (EST)

I'm looking for a different type of display. In the approach I'm using space is provided for a systematic explanation of what the vita is based on. This is often not always, more complicated than simply identifying a source. Also, while most people fill those boxes as a function of GedCom dumping. The boxes are necessary to support that, though they could be used for manual data entry as well. Since I do not usually make use of a GedCom file, and the type of detailed explanations that I'm looking at don't work well in a display this cramped, I'm circumventing the boxes. ventually, I imagine the boxes will get filled in, but at the moment they are mostly a distraction.
