Not sure how Ensign John Hathaway could have married Hannah Hallett when his first wife Martha (---) was still living at least up to 1683. The source I am using does not mention this wife, only the 2 John is known to have had (Martha ________ and Ruth Dyer), so I don't know where this daughter comes from.--Daniel Maxwell 11:30, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

Looks like a casualty of an aggressive merge. Originally Person:John Hathaway (26) only had one wife, Hannah Hallet. --Jrich 14:35, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

A quick look and I couldn't figure out where this other John Hathaway belongs, either. Hathaway is a line that unfortunately has alot of poor research 'out there' and many attempts are made to link every stray Hathaway male up to a son or grandson of Nicholas Hathaway.
