This page does not inspire confidence with a birth in 1618 in Philadelphia two years before the Mayflower, a death in 1649 in Manchester not found in VR Manchester when William Allen's wife Elizabeth was living in 1679 when she presented his inventory, and implying a marriage before the birth of their first child 1634 when this Elizabeth would have been only 16.

Be that as it may, in the GMB article on John Greenway, the will of John Greenway of Dorchester dated 5 Feb 1650/1 mentions daughter Elizabeth Allen. In the comments, it states that John Bradley of Salem, named William Allen as brother-in-law. John Greenway's daughter Ursula was deposed about his will.

The conclusion that GMB draws is that Elizabeth Greenway "may be" the second wife of William Allen, presumably assuming an unknown Greenway sister was John Bradley's wife to justify the involvement of Ursula. There is a possibility that John Bradley had some relationship to William's first wife Alice.

But it does not appear to imply that William's second wife was Elizabeth Bradley and I am merging away this page. --Jrich 14:08, 30 October 2010 (EDT)
