Bawtry and Nottinghamshire [7 December 2016]

Bawtry was always located in the West Riding of Yorkshire until 1974 when this part of Yorkshire became South Yorkshire. However, Bawtry was a chapelry of the ancient parish of Blyth in Nottinghamshire. Its baptismal records may have been stored in Blyth rather than in the local chapel. --Goldenoldie 11:46, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
