From Amos Pillsbury (8): death or census [6 July 2012]

It was contradictory to list as a source the 1820 census and show a death date of 1819. There is no source for the death date, and I can't find it in VR Newbury, so suspect it may be wrong, but the census is definitely wrong as the Amos Pilsbury in 1820 was 25-44, and so could not have been born in 1744.

In 1810 there are two Amos Pilsury in Newbury, one called Amos Jr. who is clearly not this person. The other being over 45, could be, but it as this Amos would be 65, there is a lot of room for it to be someone else. In 1800, the only Amos Pilsbury is 26-44, so it doesn't appear to be the right Amos Pilsbury as he would have been 56 in 1800. In 1790, we can't tell as ages aren't given. --Jrich 14:21, 6 July 2012 (EDT)
