«i» Death of Will Yoakum

«/i»Will, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Yoakum, died at the family residence yesterday afternoon, after an illness of nearly two months. Those friends who how much affection Mr. and Mrs. Yoakum lavised on him can best realize the depth of their sorrow.

Willie was a bright lad, a favorite with his companions, always cheerful and pleasant. Few boys of thirteen years could rejoice in as many grown-up friends, who were interested by his cheerfulness and manliness. It is hard to see such a one cut off at the threshold of a useful and honorable life; but it must be a comfort to his parents to know that while he had every comfort and pleasure their affection could suggest, and that he returns to his Maker in the purity and spotlessness of childhood. Whatever eternity holds in store for us, the best is reserved for those little ones who go before the judgment seat untarnished and untainted.

The funeral takes place from the residence judgment afternoon.

The funeral of Will Yoakum took place last Sunday afternoon from the family residence. Simple and impressive services were held at the house by Rev.. J.F. Wohlfarth and Rev.. M.E.
