He moved to Nelson NH in 1823-25, purchased one of the best farms in Nelson NH paying for it in $1000 bills which were a rarity in those days. This farm was recently sold (1924) to a Boston man of wealth who has made it the "show place" of Nelson. The Seaver heirs then acquired an adjoining farm, also commanding a magnificent view of Mt. Monadnock. It includes the shores of a beautiful lake, once called Breed's Pond, now called Silver Lake. (JMS)

He came from Roxbury Mass. Settled on a farm in the southeast quarter of Nelson in 1823, F-5-F. In 1870 when Harrisville was incorporated it took over the southern part of Nelson including the area occupied by William and Susan's sons. (Struthers)
