BIOGRAPHY:

He located on the farm in Nelson first settled by Nathaniel Breed Jr in 1974.  Edgar Seaver still lives in the house, built in the late 1700's, by Paul Whitcomb for Nathaniel Breed Jr, E-6-A.   Wellington was a farmer owning 460 acres, now in Harrisville.  (Parke Hardy Struthers, "A History of Nelson, New Hampshire, 1767-1867, 1968)

In the 1870 US census, the Wellington Seaver family resided in Nelson township, Cheshire County, New Hampshire. The household included Wellington (age 38, farmer, $3,000 in real property, $1,260 in personal property, born NH), Sarah J. (age 31, keeping house, born NH), Hattie J. (age 5, born NH), Mary B.
