In 1910, he is with Frank Young in Jackson as a hired man; 1920 he was a laborer in steelmill; 1930 he was truck driver for greenhouse. He was living in Smith's Corners when mother died in 1942. Obituary WILLIAM J. RUPRIGHT William J. Rupright, 74, formerly of 5235 Kirk Road, died of cancer at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lena Pantea, 3018 S. Meridan Road, where he lived for five months. Mr. Rupright was born April 1, 1889 in Austintown Township, a son of George and Sherri Neff Rupright. He lived in Austintown all his life and was a fireman at the Mahoning County Tuberculosis Sanitorium for 16 years until retiring. His wife, the former Nora V. Corll, died in 1957 (error shoud be 1951). Besides his daughter with whom he lived he leaves six other daughters, Mrs. Vera Shephard of Salem; Mrs. Ada Devan of Lisbon; Mrs. Edna Neff of Van Nuys, Calif.; Mrs. Gladys Kochera of Granada Hills, Calif.; and Mrs. Virginia Conrad of San Fernando, Calif.; three sons, Carl in Austintown; Robert in Greenford and Richard in Northridge, Calif.; two half-brothers, Alfred Greier and Cyril Greier both in Austintown; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Meridan Rd., Youngstown. Born April 1, 1889, in Austintown Township, he was the son of George and Sherri Neff Rupright. He lived in the Austintown area his entire life. He had worked 16 years as a fireman at the Mahoning County Tuberculosis Hospital. His wife, Nora Corll Rupright, died in 1957. Besides Mrs. Pantea, he leaves six other daughters, Mrs. Vera Shepard of Salem, Mrs. Ada Devan of Lisbon, Mrs. Edna Neff of Van Nuys, Calif., Mrs. Hattie Jones of Burbank, Calif. Mrs. Gladys Kochera of Granada Hills, Calif., and Mrs. Virginia Conrad of San Fernando Calif.; three sons, Robert of Greenford, Carl of Austintown and Richard of Northridge, Calif.; two half-brothers, Alfred and Cyril Greir of Austintown; (and half-sister Seldia Greier) 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Austintown Chapel of the Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Earle of the Smith's Corners Evangelical United Brethren Church officiating.
