William Reid was born in January 1890 in New York, son of Mary Reid, formerly Shields, and her husband Stephen Reid, a bricklayer. William appears in each census from 1900 to 1920 living with his parents at East 161st Street in the Bronx. By 1910 he was working as a plumber.
William has yet to be traced after 1920.
