William Paddock b. Middletown,Conn. 31 Aug. 1751, d. Litchfield, Herkimer Co. N.Y. 31 Aug. 1834 ae 83; m. sd. Killingworth, but recorded First Church Middletown, Conn. 13 Oct. 1774, Lucy Loveland, b. Middletown 3 Sep. 1755 also given “Feb.,” d. Litchfield 7 May 1845 ae 90.3.4; da. Capt. John and Susannah (Miller) Loveland of Glastonbury and Middletown, Conn. He was mate on a vessel, sailed to the West Indies and was captured by the British. Renewed his baptism covenant First Church, Middletown 16 July 1775 and his wife renewed hers 10 Sep. 1775. Bought land from Stephen Remington and wife of Frankfort, N.Y. 1 June 1809 (Herkimer Co. 4:489). Lived Litchfield, N.Y. abt. 7 miles east of the Capt. John Paddock place.
