[Note: the following baptism suggest this death record is either spurious or names the wrong child, as does William's mention in his father's will of 1772. Since no appropriate death record is found in the town copy in the several pages covering deaths at this time, it appears to be a spurious record caused by the compilers during alphabetization, perhaps misfiling the birth as a death?]
