    Vol. 17, p. 177 31 May 1727: William Leonard of Norton [&Abigail his wife] for £25.10.0 conveys to Ebenezer Eddy of Norton 5 small parcels in Norton: 1) 10 acres laid out 1707 to Joseph Leonard Dec'd the father of s'd William Leonard, 2) 15 3/4 acres laid out 1708 to Samuel Dean adjoining first parcel, 3) 5+ acres laid out 1723/4 to William Leonard, 4) 10 acres laid out 1724 to William Leonard, 5) 1+ acre laid out 1723/4 to William Leonard.

    Vol. 41, p. 203: 24 Feb 1724/25: William Leonard of Norton Husbandman for £5 conveys to William Harvey ye Second of Taunton Husbandman 1/2 share of parcel in Taunton Great Ceder Swamp in common with John Hodges of Norton, also another parcel being a share in the Third Lot in same division. 10 Sep 1754: Ezekill Woodward (witness) declared he saw William Leonard "who is sence deceased" sign this deed.
