William Gage, s/o Thomas Gage and Sarah ---, b. Beverly 20 Nov 1680 [sic, see comment], d. 18 Mar 1729-30, m. 9 Jul 1707 Mercy Barker. [Note: the birth record in the published VRs for Beverly does not name the child born on 20 Nov 1680. Since William's age at death works out to a birth about 1682, it is not entirely clear this belongs to William. It does not belong to Thomas whose marriage in 1697 suggests he was born a few years earlier than 1680, but it could be a child who died as an infant before being given a name?]
