Initially went to LaGrange County, Indiana. 1842, two sons went to Dane Co WI: land at $1.25/A. 1843, family went by covered wagon to WI. Fox The name Fox in Ireland is of dual origin as the name was adopted by a number of different native Gaelic Septs as well as being brought to the country by settlers from England. The O'Sionnaigh Sept of County Cork and the Mac an tSionnaigh Sept of County Armagh were two such Septs who, in addition to Fox, also changed their name to Shinnick and MacAshinagh respectively.*
