Will of William Burling of New York, dated 9 Sep 1743, proved 27 Oct 1743, mentions wife Mary, eldest son William Burling, grand-daughter Hannah Field [per Thompson-Stahr this is actually his daughter, not grand-daughter, being given something of her mothers' engraved RS, Rebecca Slocum being daughter Hannah's mother], daughter Sarah Bloodgood, son Benjamin, children James, Mary, and Samuel. wife Mary and brother Edward Burling executors. Corrections published in Vol. 40, p. 174 say a son Ebenezer was also mentioned, and that the executors were actually son Benjamin, and James Burling son of Edward.
