William - had issue five sons and six daughters. The daughters married into the families of Hilton of Hilton Castle, Bulmer of Wilton, Conyers, Lisle, Swynnow, and Wycliffe. S1

Sir William, the eldest son, married Isabel Clifton, but, dying without issue, was succeeded by his brother, Ralph Bowes, of Streatlam and Dalden Tower.Citation needed
