Wallie Franklin Ayers, 74, husband of Pearl Holmes Ayers, died Thursday morning at his home at 413 East "A" St., Brunswick. He was a son of the late Charles and Mary Baker Ayers.

Surviving are his wife and the following children: Arlington F. Ayers, Brunswick; Mrs. Catherine Guassoford, Hialeah, Fla., Leonard E. Ayers, Silver Spring; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Ernie and C.E. Ayers, both of Brunswick, two sisters, Mrs. Estella Ambrose, Baltimore, and Mrs. Jessie Scully, Frederick, also survive.

He was a member of the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, and the B&O Veterans and Carmans Lodge.

Friends may call at the C.H. Feete and Bro. Funeral Home, Brunswick, where services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Further services will be held at the Brownsville Heights Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Albert Huston officiating at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
