    20 Aug 1832 Wait Saunders identified himself as Wait Saunders Junior and his father was Wait Saunders Senior; that he entered service from South Kingstown as a substitute for William Browning; currently resided in Greenwich, Washington, NY.

    2nd wife was Lucy Beckwith, widow of Patrick Welch, who applied for Widow's Claim for Bounty Land at Crawford Co., PA 16 Apr 1855. She applied for pension 17 Mar 1856 saying she was age 90; that she married Wait Saunders 16 Jan 1826 at Northumberland, Saratoga, NY and was the widow of Patrick Welch; that Wait Saunders died 14 Jan 1837 at Fort Miller, NY.
