He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenville, Ohio and was a past member of the Kiwanis. He is survived by his children: son, Leon Bey of Dayton, Ohio and daughters and sons-in-law: Peggy & Andy Green, Celina, Ohio, Susanne & Dennis Barga, Ansonia, Ohio and Debrah & Ken Liette of Union City, Ohio. Grandchildren: David Green, Andrea (Green) Hawkins, Elizabeth (Green) Thompson, Katharine Green, Scott Barga, Jennifer (Barga) Harpole, Christopher Barga and John Liette, and nine great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, 1499 North Broadway, Greenville, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, March 5, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 233 West Third Street, Greenville, Ohio with Rev.Fr. John White, celebrant. Deceased are a brother, Harold; and a sister, Thelma Paulus.
He retired from General Motors and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Greenville and a past member of Kiwanis. He was a trustee for York Township.
