He was born January 31, 1910 at Brock, Ohio to the late Albert and Margaret (George) Bey. He was a farmer and was also retired from General Motors. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenville, Ohio and was a past member of the Kiwanis. Grandchildren: David Green, Andrea (Green) Hawkins, Elizabeth (Green) Thompson, Katharine Green, Scott Barga, Jennifer (Barga) Harpole, Christopher Barga and John Liette, and nine great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, 1499 North Broadway, Greenville, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, March 5, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 233 West Third Street, Greenville, Ohio with Rev.Fr. John White, celebrant.     Surviving are a son, Leon, Dayton; three daughters, Peggy (Andy) Green, Celina, Susanne (Dennis) Barga, Ansonia, and Debrah (Ken) Liette, Union City; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

    Deceased are a brother, Harold; and a sister, Thelma Paulus.

    He retired from General Motors and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Greenville and a past member of Kiwanis. He was a trustee for York Township.
