Virgil, 97, 623 S. Main St., Ansonia, died at 6:40 a.m., at Rest Haven Nursing Home.
He was born to Albert and Margaret (George) Bey. On Nov. 29, 1941, he married Emma M. Lamm, who precedes him in death.
Surviving are a son, Leon, Dayton; three daughters, Peggy (Andy) Green, Celina, Susanne (Dennis) Barga, Ansonia, and Debrah (Ken) Liette, Union City; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Harold; and a sister, Thelma Paulus.
He retired from General Motors and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Greenville and a past member of Kiwanis. He was a trustee for York Township.
Funeral Mass at the church, the Rev. John White officiating.
