    Viola (Vi) Warren November 6, 1928 March 30, 2009 It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Viola Myrtle Warren (nee Pilgrim). Viola passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord on March 30, 2009. She was born on November 6, 1928 on the family farm near Avondale, SK to Annie and William Pilgrim. She married Albert (Al) on November 5, 1960 at Asquith Baptist Church. During her lifetime, Viola was very active in Asquith Baptist and First Baptist Church, Saskatoon. She led Bible Studies, Ladies Group and taught Sunday School. Viola worked at 33rd St.Co-op as head cashier until her health forced her to retire. She had a servant heart and always helped out those in need. Viola enjoyed camping with family in God's creation. She was an avid gardener and was famous for her beautiful roses. Her giving spirit was evident to everyone she came in contact with. Viola loved to watch curling with her husband, Al. Although Viola suffered in pain for numerous years, her fighting spirit remained solid. Viola will be dearly missed by her husband, Albert (Al);<names of living individuals have been removed>; and many nieces and nephews. We mourn her loss yet rejoice together in the assurance that her faith and trust in the risen Lord kept her secure in the knowledge that we will meet again in heaven. A Memorial Service will be held in Viola's honour on Friday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m. First Baptist Church, Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Viola's honour to First Baptist Church, Luther Care Communities or Cancer Society. Arrangements in care of Tompkins Funeral Home, Wadena, SK.
