… Ursula Mumby (or Mumbie), who was buried at Great Limber, 4 April 1642.v She was doubtless a native of Brocklesby, where the surname Mumby is commonly found, but there is a gap in the parish registers from 1571 to 1671. Available probates for the name Mumby in this area were carefully examined, but none of them shed any light on Ursula's parentage. Ursula was quite possibly a grandchild of William Monbye [sic] of Brocklesby, yeoman, whose will dated 18 March 1568/9, probated 12 April 1569, mentioned his wife, Alison; his sons John, Anthony, Richard, and Blayse Monbey; his daughters Agnes and Ursula Monbey; his brother, Richard Mombey, and lands in Brocklesby, Little and Great Limber, and Ulceby, Lincolnshire.
