Genealogies of the Families and Descendents of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts, Including Waltham and, p. 2:674, on 18 Nov 1714 selectmen of Watertown appointed Urian Angier schoolmaster "if he be found qualified". In NEHGR, p. 48:283, "Urian Anger" is listed in Capt. Penhallow's Company from 5 Jan 1721/22 to 14 Nov 1722, in actions "relative to Indian Affairs in Maine". Ibid, p. 49: 187, shows him serving again with Capt. Penhallow 8 Jun 1725 to 15 Nov 1725. In 1727, Urian Angier submitted a petition asking to be an allowance for medicine and services rendered while serving as "Surgeon & Physician" to sick and wounded soldier (Source:Massachusetts, United States.
