Note: Some researchers have placed Urian as a son of George Byrne and his wife Lydia, but Uriah appears to be the son of James Byrne and his wife Catherine Taylor (or Champe). Uriah named his sister Catherine in a deed in 1813 in Fauquier County; he gave her a negro woman in the deed. [1]
