Thomas Albert Young, 89, of Virginia Beach, VA, died on December 15, 2011.

Tom was born in Marion, OH the son of the late Erastus and Lois Young and married the late Arlette M. Young (Toops) in 1945. He and Arlette were married for 65 years. He proudly served for three years as a member of the United States Coast Guard during WWII.

He is survived by three sons, Thomas A. Young of Pendleton, OR, Timothy G. Young, Elkhard, IN and Theodore N. Young, Virginia Beach, VA.

All services will be private. Condolences may be offered to the family at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home.
