Mrs. Erastus Young.

Mrs. Lois Ruth Young, 73, died at 3 p.m. Saturday east of Marion where she was being cared for. Her husband, Erastus, died April 1, 1937.

Born Aug. 13, 1894, in Licking County, she was a daughter of William E. and Isabella Davis Piper. She was a member of Forest EUB Church.

Surving are five sons, Ralph of 429 Girard Ave., Edmund E. of Richland Rd., Thomas A. of Goshen, Ind., Charles W. of the Navy and Harold A. of Collingdale, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Roberts of Columbus, Mrs. Harold Fry of 211 Orchard St., and Mrs. Ruth Rowland of 151 N. Vine St.; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Earl Wickiser of Mansfield, Mrs. Charles Shorr of Detroit and Mrs. Faye Adams of Westerville. A brother, a son and a daughter are deceased.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in M. H. Gunder Sons Funeral Home.Rev. Ronald Faulk will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 tonight.
