    Will of "Thomas Upham of Weston ... miller being very sick and weak", dated 2 Feb 1729/30, presented 9 Mar 1729[/30], proved 16 Mar 1729/30, names wife Elisebeth; only son thomas upham; Eldest daughter Ruth upham; Elisebeth upham my youngest daughter; "my first wives books shall be equally divided among my three Chilldren above named", "all the books which I recived of my honoured father be Returned to him"; brother Josiah upham; brother abijah upham to be executor. Impower executor to sell lands given to "my two daughters with the approbation of my honoured father thomas upham and Richard upham both of Reading".
    16 Mar 1729/30: Testimony of Eben'r Allen that when he was writing the will, Thomas upham told him he would give his son Thomas to his brother Abijah upham to be brought up. Elisebeth Upham the widow testifieth to the same thing.
