  2.   Once again, Bond has screwed up. On p. 613 [and also on p. 606], he indicates that Thomas Upham and Elizabeth Bullard had one child, a daughter Elizabeth, b. 15 Jan 1723-4, m. 1753 Abijah Fiske.

Actually, Thomas and Elizabeth both had daughters named Elizabeth by previous marriages and they had no children together. The Weston records clearly show Thomas' daughter Elizabeth born 15, bp. 21 Jan 1721-2. Bond must not have been able to reconcile the various wills, and so changed the dates to match his theory :-(.

This daughter Elizabeth born in early 1722 would clearly belong to his first wife Ruth. She would indeed be his youngest daughter as named in Thomas's will.

Elizabeth had a daughter Elizabeth Spring who married Thomas's brother Abijah Upham to become Elizabeth Upham. She is the Elizabeth Upham named in Elizabeth's 1753 will, not some daughter she had with Thomas Upham.
