Thankful Morey "married at Plymouth 23 January 1717/8 THOMAS SWIFT, who was born at Sandwich December 169- and died at Rochester 24 December 1770 in his 79^th year, son of William and Elizabeth (----) Swift."

If he was 78 at death (in his 79th year), then he was born 1692. However, someone else claimed his sister Joanna was born March 1692, so it seems unlikely he was born Dec 1692. Since age is often exaggerated when someone dies, 1693 seems a reasonable estimate for his birth.
