Hello all,

I've been researching my family's history since I was in high school, back in the pencil and note cards days! Thankfully, we've come a long way since then.

Over the last four decades or so, I've broadened my scope from just my father's line to include all direct ancestors back to when they arrived in the US (or what would become the US) plus information on their parents, whenever available, and minimal information on their grandparents. (Because of having to split up my files because they were too large, not all of what I have may appear right away.)

I'm not only a fanatic about history in general but also about ferreting out every possible shred of information that could help shed light on the people my, or our, ancestors were. I work from the most reputable sources I can find but when I have a piece of data that is unsourced or second-hand-sourced (and so I consider unproven, but too likely to discard), I always indicate this in my notes.

Names, places and other information will be added to this page as I get settled here.

I look forward to working with people who share the same lines and interests!
