OR IS THIS DATE INCORRECT? 1861 CENSUS - WHERE IS HE? 1871 - Census: In 1871, Thomas Stewart (incorrectly spelled Stuart) 21, Farmer, born in Ireland, was living by himself on the farm in Aumick Lake sub-district, Parry Sound District, Ontario. Source is 1871 Census of Canada, Aumick Lake. NOTE: He was listed next to Robert Elliott on the census page indicating that they lived near each other. George Stewart is not listed in this census since he did not immigrate until 2 years later, in 1873.
