Captain Thomas Starke RS b. abt 1716 King William Co., VA d. bet 1791 and 1798 Kershaw County, S.C. married Jean or Jane Williams (no further info) and had 8 children: William RS; Major Thomas RS (2nd possibility); Douglas RS; Turner RS; Frances 'Fanny'; Jean; Reuben RS; John W. Esq. RS. I do have considerable more information on this family. Tom married 2nd Keziah (LNU) and here are a few of the notes:
    Notes: The last record from for Thomas Starke in Virginia is the birth of his son, John W. in 1762. The biography of Reuben Starke states that Reuben removed to South Carolina at an early age. Thomas Starke probably went to S.C. in the 1760's.

    First citation September 19, 1782 - Keziah Starke applied for administrator.

    Second citation April 13, 1784 - Douglas Starke applied for administrator.

    Bond at Winnsboro May 20, 1784 signed by Reuben Starke.

    Notes: Keziah Starke was probably the widow of Thomas in 1782, thus indicating that he probably had a second wife.
