- ↑ Thomas' father's first wife Mary died at an undetermined time between 1709 and 1715, so it is impossible to know who Thomas' mother is. It is assumed until evidence is presented, that Mary is, influenced by the fact that she had a brother named Thomas.
- ↑ Source:White, Almira Larkin. White Family Quarterly, Vol.3, p. 113, says Thomas m. 1733 Anna Ross. Anna, w/o Thomas Sawyer died in 1753, aged 73, so born about 1680, so this seems extremely unlikely. Further it overlaps the marriage with Abigail White which appears to agree with leaving a widow named Abigail.
