Collins gives this father to son chain (I think):
1.Hasculphus Musard, Lord of Stavely in Derbyshire 2. Richard Musard 3. William Rosper (= Elnith, daughter of Thomas Appledore) 4. Adam Roper of Swacliffe 5. Adam Roper 6. Thomas
Collins gives (4) Adam Roper another son, Edwine, who had children Adam, John, Edmond (prior of Bilsington), and Agnes (= Simon Kennet). Brydges, in his revision of Collins, seems to back away from some of this.
The Visitation has:
1. Edwin Roper 2. Adam Roper 3. Thomas, and as his siblings: Edmund, prior of Billingston, and Agnes (= Simon Kennett)
