The marriage of Thomas, Jr. and Lucinda made a direct merger of two distinct, but close, Braught clans (my records identify these two clans as the Adam and Jonas lines - a third major line I call the Moses line, and these two lines join in mid-1700's with brothers coming to this country !!). Thos. purchased his family farm and prospered there until he sold the farm to retire at Findlay in 1920,s. Janice Reddin said that Thomas was the only sibling of this family born in Putnam Co., OH -- all others born in Hancock Co. (adjacent). This also deduces that Catherine's in-laws were living in Putnam Co. when Thomas Reddin,Jr. was born because she returned from New Orleans to them for that birth, according to Janice Reddin interview. I am amazed that I did not obtain from from Janice Reddin tons more data on the Reddins, but apparently I never did (thinking she would always be available to share that when asked?)
