On 4, 11 and 18 February 1770 in the parish of Bardney, Lincolnshire, England, and on 4, 11 and 25 February in the parish of Hameringham, banns of marriage were published for Thomas Overton of Bardney parish and Ann Emerson of Hameringham parish, and they were married in the parish of Hameringham by the rector, W. Gibson, on 25 February 1770. The marriage was witnessed by John English and Robert Allbons.

On 23 June, 7 and 14 July 1782 in the parish of Bardney, Lincolnshire, England, banns of marriage were published for Thomas Overton (occ. tailor) and Mary Hagues, both of the parish, and they were married in the parish by the vicar, Bernard Cracroft, on 15 July 1782. The marriage was witnessed by William Curtois and James Johnson.
