Facts and Events
Name Thomas MILLER
Gender Male
Birth? Abt 1786
Marriage Abt 1808 , , New Yorkto Sally WORTHINGTON
Death? Aft 1850 , , Ohio

Thomas was born in Michigan or PA. Alfred' death certificate says MI. 1850 cesus says PA. Thomas is under Clarissa Miller in Huron Co. 1850 as 64 years old. He married Sally Worthington in New York. Marriage in NY is based on obit of Lewis which states he was born in NY and moved to Erie Co., Ohio as a child, after 1817 and possibly before the 1820 census of Huron Co. I am basing his death est. on the the assumption that he died before 1860 because he is not found in the 1860 census. Thomas, Sally, and most of their children seem to have migrated from Erie and Huron Co's to Weston, Ohio in the 1850's. I am now going to presume that any Millers in Weston in the 1860 census are related to Thomas and Sally. Further, I am also going to believe that any Millers in Erie Co. 1840 and 1850 are related to Thomas. I have not found Thomas' grave yet. The unknown children's ages are based on the info in the 1820 and 1830 census of Huron Co., Ohio. Presuming that it is our Thomas in those censuses. There is probably a John, George, and Sarah as children also. There is a Barbary Miller age 53 from the 1850 Huron Co. census. Her daughter Barbary married a John Smith. Barbary is propably Thomas' sister in law, as is Sarah age 69 from 1860 Wood Co. Silas as a son is based on him being buried in the Old West End Cemetery in Berlin Heights with other members of the family, and his age and gender fitting the 1820 and 1830 census of Huron Co. In the 1810 NY census for Thomas Miller there are 9 entries. Three match the Worthington entries; Clinton, Rens., and Gene. So I must figure first that they were married in one of these three counties. It is at least a good place to start.

1880 Census of son Alfred says father born N.Y.
