    QUAY 3 "SCHEPELER, Obituary - By the death of Mr. Thomas McDermott on the 23rd ult. this locality lost an old and much respected inhabitant. ...Mr. McDermott was one of the earliest settlers of this township , having lived on the farm on which he lived for upwards of 40 years...Deceased was about 80 years of age and leaves a wife and nine children...Funeral to R. C. Church, Uptergrove."
