Married (1) 29 Jun 1691 Deborah (Corliss) Eastman, m. (2) 19 Jan 1702/3 Sarah Haynes. Children from first marriage killed by Indians 1697, and he was "killed or taken" by Indians 3 Jul 1706. "Whereas thro' the Goodnes of God Thomas Kingsbury is returned from a Long Captivity", 7 Oct 1708, he was granted land in Plainfield, CT. Died there 11 Jun 1720. Will dated 29 Jun 1720 [source notes: sic], proved 5 Aug 1720, mentions wife, "beloved Cozen, Thomas Kingsbury, my Brother Thomas Kingsbury's son of Haveril" [sic, clearly didn't mean Thomas, i.e., himself, should be Samuel], "cousin Bartholomew Heath, who lives with me" [i.e., cousin meaning nephew, son of John Heath and Hannah Haynes].
