obit from theEdmonton Journal, Dec. 15, 1949, page 22 : THOMAS HOLMES-- On Dec. 13, Mr. Thomas Holmes of Bon Accord, Alberta passed away at the age of 76 years. He leaves to mourn his loss 2 daughters and 3 sons. Mrs. Howard Kelly, Calgary; Michael, Bon Accord; Mrs. Omer Saligo, Louis and Joseph of Edmonton
The funeral will be held on Friday morning at 8:30am from Connelly-McKinley funeral home to St. Alphonsus Church where servives will be held at 9 o'clock. Rev. Father Malone C.S.R. will officiate and the internment will take place in the Edomonton Catholic Cemetery......
