"GREENWOOD, THOMAS, a weaver, (parentage not ascertained), one of the early settlers. He came into the village about 1667, then twenty-four years old, and m. Hannah, the oldest dr. of John Ward, Sen., July 7, 1670. Upon the organization of the town, Aug. 27, 1679, he was elected Constable, same day. ...
