Genealogical and Personal Memoirs Relating to the Families of Boston and Eastern Massachusetts, Vol. 3, p. 1250, erroneously interprets the birth date as 10 Mar 1657-58, but the first month of 1657, which is the recorded date, would be the month where 1656 ends and 1657 begins, i.e., 1656/57. Further Cutter has misrecorded the birth of Elizabeth, the previous sibling of Thomas, as 29 Sep 1656, when it is recorded as 1655, which is probably the cause of his confusion.
