Elizabeth Ffrench the daughter of John Ffrench and Grace his wiffe was borne, the (29) (7) 1655.
[Note: In old-styles dates, the seventh month is September. More info may be found here.]

  2. No primary record found. This date is given in several secondary sources, such as Source:Cutter, William Richard. New England Families, Genealogical and Memorial, Vol. 1, p. 132; Source:Thayer, Bezaleel J. Memorial of the Thayer Name from the Massachusetts Colony of Weymouth and Braintree, p. 223. Neither of these two provide any basis and both are somewhat error prone. The similarity to the death date of her daughter Grace even suggests that might have been confused for the mother's death? Currently posted by previous posters as occurring in Medfield, but almost certainly would have happened in Mendon.
