It also appears that Martin and Thomas Jefferson were family names starting with the first Martin in 1700; to William Baker in 1740 to Thomas Baker in 1769 to Martin Baker in 1795; to Thomas Baker in 1829; to Martin Baker in 1862 to our Thomas, Martin and Elizabeth (Betty)
