In 1719, he was listed as a taxable, north side of Piscataway Creek.

He was chosen Church Warden of St. John's Church (30 Mar 1741 and 16 May 1749). Bought pew #10 at St. John's Church, Broad Creek (12 Feb 1749). Registered births of his children at St. John's Church, Broad Creek, Prince George's Co. (31 Aug 1753). Recorded Certificate of a Stray, Prince George's Co. (1753, 1755, 1759 and 19 Nov 1764).

On 12 Dec 1741, he purchased 100 acres called "Chance Situate" on the west side of the Patuxant River and the north side of Mattawoman Branches in Prince George's, Maryland. He sold this tract on 13 Feb 1745.

On 16 Oct 1742, he signed petition to divide Prince George's county.
