STEELE, THEODORE W. "TED," 87, of Clearwater, died Sunday (May 11, 2003) at Mease Dunedin Hospital. He was born in Owego, N.Y., and came here in 1994 from Newport, R.I. He owned and operated Ted Steele Heating & Plumbing, Nichols, N.Y. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Owego, and the American Legion in Maine, N.Y. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Martha; three daughters, Delores Fernquist, Clearwater, Theodora Shaw, Middletown, R.I., and Sonya Dent, Riverside, R.I.; a son, Gary LeRoy Steele, New Port Richey; three sisters, Margaret Keefe and Dorothy Steele, Pinellas Park, and Louise Harris, Owego; three brothers, Jack, Rose, N.Y., Paul, Conover, N.C., and Robert, Owego; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Dunedin Chapel.
